NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY

Kenwood Training Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is committed to providing an environment that is free from discrimination in employment and volunteer opportunity because of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age, or any other status protected under applicable federal, state, or local laws.


1. Employment and Volunteer Opportunities


1.1 Equal Opportunity

Kenwood Training Center is committed to the principles of equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination. 2. Services and Programs


2.1 Accessibility of Services and Programs

Kenwood Training Center is committed to providing equal access to all services and programs without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age, or any other status protected under applicable federal, state, or local laws. This commitment extends to all aspects of Kenwood Training Center's services and programs, including but not limited to, eligibility criteria, procedures, assessments, and service delivery methods.


2.2 Language Assistance

Recognizing the diversity of the community served, Kenwood Training Center shall provide language assistance services as necessary to ensure meaningful access to services and programs for individuals with limited English proficiency. Such assistance may include, but is not limited to, the provision of interpretation services, translated materials, or other support as deemed appropriate by Kenwood Training Center. The organization shall take reasonable steps to identify and assess the language needs of the population served and to provide appropriate resources to meet those needs.

Any individual who believes they have been subjected to discrimination by Kenwood Training Center or its representatives in violation of this policy is encouraged to report the incident promptly. The training shall include, but is not limited to, an overview of applicable laws and regulations, the responsibilities of individuals under this policy, and the procedures for reporting and resolving complaints of discrimination.


4.2 Distribution and Communication

This Non-Discrimination Policy shall be distributed to all employees, volunteers, and representatives of Kenwood Training Center and shall be made publicly available on Kenwood Training Center's website or upon request. Kenwood Training Center shall take appropriate measures to ensure that this policy is communicated effectively to all stakeholders, including those with disabilities or limited English proficiency, through accessible formats and language assistance services as needed.

4.3 Responsibility for Implementation

The responsibility for implementing and enforcing this Non-Discrimination Policy rests with [designated person/position].
